Sewa Foundation Ghana has been designed to focus on providing humanitarian solutions to some of the worlds biggest societal challenges. The organization also provides policy advise on matters relating to anti-human trafficking, migration and diaspora relations. Sewa Foundation has over 15 years of expertise in humanitarian issues. The organization partners with international development organizations like IOM, GIZ, World Bank, UNICEF, UN, Government institutions amongst others.
SEWA Foundation is a non-governmental organization committed to the eradication of Irregular Migration, and modern-day slavery (Human Trafficking). We mainly focus on contributing to the reduction of the causes of child trafficking and child slavery. We operate in the areas of anti-human trafficking, anti-human smuggling, prevention of child abuse and child labour in Ghana.
SEWA foundation leads campaigns to rescue victims both in Ghana and abroad. We embark on public education to contribute to the reduction of modern day slavery. The Foundation spearheads awareness creation on television, radio, Social Media and other media channels to prevent, Human Trafficking, Irregular Migration and rescue of Stranded Migrant in the Diasporas. We undertake special outreach programmes to children in the rural areas of Ghana and the less privileged children in the urban centres.
